Michael I. Halleran, 85, of Columbia, IL, passed away at Columbia Convalescent Center, Columbia, IL. He was born in Bush, IL, the son of the late Vernon and Lyburtie (Claunch) Halleran. He retired in 1978 from McDonnell - Douglas, St. Louis, Mo, after 30 years of service, and had been a member of St. Paul United Church of Christ, Columbia, IL, and American Legion Post #581 Columbia, IL. He served in the US Navy, and was a veteran of the World War II. He was married to Pearl (Mueller) Halleran, who survives him. They were married on August 30, 1969 in Columbia, IL.
