Melzina "Zinnie" Rensing's Obituary
Melzina " Zinnie" Rensing, 76 years of Red Bud, IL, passed away on September 7, 2020 at Oak Hill Care Center, Waterloo, IL. She was born April 24, 1944, in Bradford, AR.
Zinnie was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She really enjoyed playing bingo, cards and bowling. She was on two bowling teams, a Women's League in Red Bud and a Panorama Lanes Mixed League. She was a member at United Church of Christ in Red Bud, IL.
Surviving are her husband, Richard Rensing, who she married on October 26, 1962, her two sons, Scott (Kathy) Rensing & Jeff (Lora) Rensing; her two grandsons, Cameron Rensing & Blake Rensing; her granddaughter, Juliana Rensing, along with other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Pearl, nee Weathers, Willis; her three sisters, Charlene Wellman, Mary Webster & Brenda Smith and a niece and nephew.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 11, 2020 from 4:00-7:00 p.m. at Leesman Funeral Home in Red Bud, IL. Funeral service will be on Friday, September 11, 2020 at 7:00 p.m. with Pastor Paul Kurrelmeyer, officiating. Per her wishes Zinnie will be cremated after the service.
