Mel’s happy face and sunny laugh were always a bright light in the neighborhood. We are so thankful to have been your neighbors and share 9 years of time and space with your family. Sending love and peace to you all. ~ Brent and Sheri Babb
So sorry for your loss. I have great memories of Mel and the whole family. It’s been many years since I was part of Dianne Ave,, but memories of the men’s Saturday morning coffee in the middle of the street and wrapping his truck in shrink wrap. His laugh was contagious.

I grew up next door to Mel and Marj, and watched the kids grew up. They were great neighbors, wonderful people to have in my life in my formative years. I stayed in touch, visiting with them whenever I came home. Mel was one of a kind, a truly delightful human being.
Sorry to hear of his death, fond memories of him.
