Melody Cheryl Causey's Obituary
Melody Cheryl Causey, 77 years of Barnhart, MO, passed away on Wednesday, August 20, 2025, at Mercy Hospital Jefferson in Festus, MO. She was born January 31, 1948, in St. Louis, MO.
Melody was retired from Health and Human Services in Waterloo, IL., having worked with handicapped adults. She was a member of Arnold Church of Christ in Arnold, MO. She enjoyed reading, cats and sewing. Melody had a quirky side, would help anyone, if she could and enjoyed journaling.
Surviving are her daughter, Sheila Marie (Tracy) Jones, her son, James Ray (Nikki) Keys, her grandchildren, China Rae Parris, Nikolai Kronk, Casey Lee Jones, Paige Rachéle Watson, William Dean Watson and Cameren James Keys, her great-grandchildren, Zane Kronk, Lexi Riley and Addy Riley, along with other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Melvin Firmin and Ruby Alice, nee Radford, Robinson, her brother, Firmin Robinson and her sister, Peggy Joan Marks.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 27, 2025, from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm, at Leesman Funeral Home in Dupo, IL, Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday August 27, 2025, at Leesman Funeral Home in Dupo, IL., with Rev. Don Bahr, officiating.
In lieu of customary remembrances, the family requests with gratitude that memorial contributions be directed to American Cancer Society #5 Schiber Ct., Maryville, IL 62062 or Stray Rescue in Jefferson County, MO..
