Melba M. Schnellbecher, nee Gruenewald, 90 years of Columbia, IL., formerly of Waterloo, IL, passed away on Friday, May 1, 2020 Memorial Hospital in Belleville, IL. She was born April 2, 1930, in Millstadt, IL.
Melba farmed with her late husband Walter Schnellbecher. She was a member of St. Paul United Church of Christ in Floraville, IL.
Surviving are her son, Ralph Schnellbecher, her granddaughter Hannah Schnellbecher (fiance, Thomas Huber), along with other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Schnellbecher, her granddaughter, Aspen Schnellbecher, her parents, Walter and Mathilda, nee Stumpf, Gruenewald, her brother, Lester Gruenewald, her sisters, Alice Harfmann and Shirley Mueller.
No public services will be held.
