Melba Everding's Obituary
Melba Everding, 88 years of Red Bud, Ill, born May 21, 1929 in Red Bud, Ill, passed away on Tuesday, August 29, 2017 at Oak Hill in Waterloo, Ill.
Melba was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Red Bud (Prairie), Ill. She worked at the Red Bud Cafe, Country Kitchen and also on the farm.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Everding and her parents, Alvin & Selma, nee Geitz, Haase.
Surviving are her daughter, Deb (Harvey) Liefer, her sons, Steve Everding & Brian (LuAnn) Everding, and her daughter, Pam (Joe) Deterding, her grandchildren, Angie (Ted) Schrader, Missy (Chris) Toenjes, Scott (Beth) Liefer, Aaron Deterding, Alex Deterding, Ashley (Matt) Mueller and Cassie Everding, her great grandchildren, Madi, Chase & Bax Schrader, Lydia & Carter Toenjes and Charlie Liefer, her sister, Bernett Wright. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, in-laws, other relatives & friends.
Visitation will be on Thursday, August 31, 2017 from 4-8 p.m. at Koch-Liefer Funeral Home in Red Bud, Ill., and on Friday, September 1, 2017 from 10-11 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Red Bud (Prairie), Ill.,
Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 1, 2017 at 11 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Red Bud (Prairie), Ill., with Rev. Scott Hojnacki, officiating.
Burial will follow in Trinity Lutheran Cemetery in Red Bud (Prairie), Ill.
