Maurice C. Ries' Obituary
Maurice C. Ries, 71 yrs., of Columbia, IL, passed away Saturday, December 8, 2012. He was born in St. Louis, MO, the son of the late Raymond and Florence (Schneider) Ries. He was retired from Columbia Quarry, Columbia, IL, with some 18 yrs. of service, and had been a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Columbia, IL, the Millstadt Sportsmans Club, Columbia Gymnastic Association, and the Gold Wing Road Riders Association. He was married to Barbara (Leister) Ries, who survives him. They were married on September 5, 1960, in Columbia, IL.
