Matthew W. Nichols, 25 years of East Carondelet, IL, passed away on May 11, 2018 in Monroe County, IL. He was born February 24, 1993, in Cape Coral, FL.

Nichols; Sister, Amber Nichols; Fiance, Kala McKnight; Four Uncles, Jim Hug, Pete (Brenda) Nichols, Reggie (Shara) Nichols, Jerry (Rhonda) Nichols; Four Aunts, Sue (Les) Phillips, Debbie (Bob) Cash, Jan (Jim) Tilker, Carol Mattox; Eighteen Cousins, David Hug, Sarah Hug, Gyna Martin, Teresa Fields, Pat Nichols, Lindsey Nichols, Jerry Nichols, Tina Whittington, Crissy Kueper, Nick Phillips, Lesley Nichols, Kaysie Nichols, April Mattox, Lisa Mattox, Kim Crouch, Lonnie Mattox, Michelle Mattox, Michael Mattox; along with many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his Two Grandfathers, Ronald Hug, Reggie Nichols; Two Grandmothers, Deanna Hug, Alta Nichols; Three Uncles, Michael Hug, Leon Mattox and Jack Mattox
Visitation will be Thursday, May 17, 2018 from 6 - 8 p.m., at Leesman Fuenral Home, Dupo, IL. Services will be held Thursday, May 17, 2018 at 8 p.m., with Reverend James Jarvis officiating.
Per his wishes Matthew will be cremated following services.
In lieu of customary remembrances, the family requests with gratitude that memorial contributions be directed to the care of his son Miles Nichols.
