Mary Evelyn Utley's Obituary
Mary Evelyn Utley, 92 years of Cahokia, Illinois, passed away on June 8th, 2022 in St. Louis, Missouri. She was born December 1st, 1929, in Marmarduke, AR to her parents, John A. and Anna Lou (Thompson) Bozark.
Mary loved spending time with her family and was a member of the Maplewood Church of Christ in Cahokia.
Surviving is her daughter, Janet R. Utley, sons; Joe Utley and Jerry A. Utley, brother, Johnny Bozark, numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren, her sister-in-law, Louis Utley Banks, also survived by nieces, nephews, as well as many other relatives and friends.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents, husband, J.C. Utley, children; Marilyn Jean "Jeanie" Alfred and Jeffrey L. Utley, brothers; Bob Bozark and Gene Bozark, daughter-in-laws; Judy Utley, Linda L. Utley, and Judy Hunter, and son-in-law; Neal B. Alfred, granddaughter Carrie Utley Spears, grandson, Jamie Utley and great grandson, Noah Bartsch.
Visitation will be held Sunday, June 12th, 2022 from 2:00pm - 4:00pm at Leesman Funeral Home in Dupo, Illinois. Services will be held by Irby Funeral Home in Marmaduke, Arkansas with interment following at Harveys Chapel Cemetery.
In lieu of customary remembrances, the family requests with gratitude that memorial contributions be directed to Children's Homes Inc. 5515 Walcott Rd., Paragould, Arkansas 72450.
