Randy, Of course this is way too late but Perry mentioned to me today that your mom had passed away. She was the most gentle caring person! I have all the wonderful memories of coming to your house and calculating the actual time from your kitchen clock. I have been away from Columbia forever but your mom is one of my most favorite lasting memories. - Kent Mann
I remember when she introduced me to Ted Drewe's Frozen custard in St.Louis, MO. She got me Hooked on that. She was very nice and very sweet and kind to me too. I will never forget about her. - Allison Reese.

I had her for both the 1st grade and the 4th grade. My son also had her for the 4th grade. I had a lot of good teachers but she was the best. Always caring about her students. When our son was in 4th grade, we had an opportunity to go to Washington D.C. but we had to take Jeff out of school for a few days. We talked to her about it and she thought that was a great experience for him, but she wanted him to take notes to report back what he saw. Later on when I retired, I would see her during walks around town and always have a conversation.
A great person and great teacher. She will be missed. I extend my deepest sympathy to her family.

Mary Ann is my great, Aunt. I am the little girl in that picture, with my mom (Andrea), Mary Ann, Anna Mae, Edward, and James. Mary Ann has always played a big role in my life. She was the fun aunt who loved tennis, dogs (Penney, Abe, and Eb), walking every night, the Cubs, and Catholic Church. She encouraged me to go to and graduate from Washington University in St. Louis even before I had a path to make it real. I had the joy of seeing her the Friday before she passed away. She very directly told me that I was special to her. I told her she was special to me and that I loved her. I find peace in her passing because I imagine a celebration with all my other family members that have passed from this world.
Mrs Roediger was my favorite teacher, she taught my fourth grade class. I’ll never forget The Little Drummer Boy song she taught us, and the trip to the ice cream store with our entire class. She was one of the best teachers ever! Sincerely,
