Mary A. Rensing's Obituary
Mary A. Rensing, nee Huetsch, 84 years of Red Bud, IL, passed away on Monday, December 21, 2020 at Red Bud Regional Hospital, Red Bud, IL. She was born November 21, 1936, in Columbia, IL.
Mary was a babysitter for many years in the early days and later she was a home maker. She was a member of the VFW Post 6632 ladies auxiliary in Red Bud. Mary enjoyed going fishing and camping, going to the casino's, playing bingo and cards.
Surviving are her husband of 63 years, Ervin Rensing, whom she married on November 30, 1957, her daughter, Lorrie Koester, her son, Bruce Rensing, her grandchildren, Kyle (Emily Sensel) Koester, Abbi Rensing, Landon (Bethany Burris) Rensing, Dalton Rensing, Gavin Rensing and Payton Rensing, her great grandchildren, Braxtyn Rensing, Bently Schweizer, Connor, Jextyn and Macy Rensing, her sister, Helen (Gene) Hon, along with other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Adeline, nee Feldhause, Huetsch, her siblings, Herbert Huetsch, John O. Huetsch, Norman L. Huetsch, Hermon Joseph Huetsch, Ardell Huetsch, Dolores Guebert, Dorothy Karbon and her son-in-law, Terry Koester.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 26, 2020 from 4-7 p.m. at Leesman Funeral Home in Red Bud, IL., followed by funeral services at 7:00 p.m. with Pastor Cory Hartz, officiating. Masks are required and current social distancing guidelines are to be followed. Mary will be cremated following the services.
