Condolences and wishes for a speedy recovery to the Keller family and friends. I don't know how many still, today, collects obituary cards which were distributed at christian wakes; but, it was considered appropriate in the 1940's-50's to place a card (much like a book marker) in the daily misselettes and magnificats to mark a passage that was recited during a service so as to offer a prayer in rememberence; Later after a grieving period was over, the card would be transferred to the family bible, with a possible entry in the family genealogy preface to the book. Many religions practice some form of family history this way or another.Long story short: My mother was Ethel M. Keller, and her mother was Ramona Keller, wife of Harv Keller who settled in Renault, Illinois. Harv's father was John Keller. He married Ella Emerson. The keller family spent time in East Carondolet, Dupo, and Columbia; places that were mentioned during funeral services Mickey (my maternal aunt) and Ethel had a 1/2 brother Harold Keller, that we lost touch with.I support ancestral gynealogy and would welcome any information that may connect us.Thank you.Mary and I was the same age.
