Mary C. Hardy's Obituary
Mary C. Hardy, nee Babb, 82, of Red Bud, Ill., formerly of Cahokia, Ill., born, March 19, 1934 in Portageville, MO., passed away Sunday, February 12, 2017 at the Red Bud Regional Care Facility in Red Bud, Ill.
Mary had worked for many years as a cook at the Centreville Hospital in Centreville, Ill. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Red Bud, Ill., and she volunteered for Senior Companion in Red Bud, Ill.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Vester and Mary Babb, her son, James Michael Hardy and her sister, Sylvia Owens.
Mary is survived by her daughters, Phyllis Kippenberger, Karen Green and Darlene Jackson, her grandchildren, Sarah Sheard, Judith Ann Hardy, Matthew Hardy, Michael, Mary & Melissa Hardy, and numerous great grandchildren. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church in Red Bud, Illinois.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 16, 2017 from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the First Baptist Church in Red Bud, Ill.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 16, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at the First Baptist Church in Red Bud, Ill., with Rev. Ben Chapman, officiating
Burial will be in Red Bud City Cemetery in Red Bud, Ill.
