Martha was preceded in death by her parents: Henry & Caroline Scharf, nee Keck, her step mother: Selma Scharf, nee Keck, her husband: Carl Albert, whom she married April 16, 1933 and died February 12, 1992, her sister: Mathilda Scharf, her brothers: Elmer Scharf, Edwin Scharf, & Raymond Scharf, and her sons-in-law: Glenn Agnew, John Swistak Sr., & Steve Franke. She is survived by her 3 daughters: Carolyn Jean (Perl) Hazelip, Ethel Mae Swistak & Norma Lee Franke, all of Belleville, IL., her 6 grandchildren: Stephen (Rhonda) Agnew of Cahokia, IL., Sherri (Charles) Glover of Littleton, CO., John Swistak Jr. & Michael Swistak of Belleville, IL., Mark (Crystal) Franke of Arnold, MO., Lisa (Fiance: Matthew Smith) Franke, her 9 great grandchildren: Scott Foran of Littleton, CO., Shelly (Marcos) Bowman of Littleton, CO., CJ Glover of Littleton, CO., Stephanie Agnew of Columbia, IL., Tony (Sarah) Agnew of St. Louis, MO., Sam (Fiance: Rachael Feldman) Agnew, Kaylee & Becket Franke, & Anthony Swistak, her great great grandchildren: Mariah & MJ Bowman of Littleton, CO., Brianna & Scarlet Agnew of St. Louis, MO., and a great grandchild on the way, her 2 step-granddaughters: Patti (Darrell) Burke & Sandi (Douglas) Burkstaller, she is also survived by 6 step great grandchildren, 1 step great great grandchild, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Memorials may be made to Zion Evangelical Church in Millstadt, IL. or Hospice of Southern Illinois.
