Martha L. "Marty" Habiger, 70 yrs., of Carbondale, IL, passed away at Touchette Regional Hospital, Centreville, IL. She was born in Kansas City, MO, the daughter of the late Lawrence and Katheryn (Hartmann) Hauber. Marty was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, Carbondale, IL, had volunteered much time and counseled many at the Women's Center, Carbondale, IL, and was a co-presenter at Marriage Encounter with the Belleville Diocese. She had been the office manager for many years at the Habiger & Associates Elder Law Office, Carterville, IL. She was married to Richard J. Habiger, who survives her.
