Marsha Louise Kostelac's Obituary
Belleville- Marsha Louise Kostelac, 63, of Belleville, passed away at her home at 7:53 AM, Wednesday, July 28, 2021.
Marsha was born on December 27, 1957, in Poplar Bluff, MO to Orla and Louise (Leach) Goad. She married Randy D. Kostelac on June 22, 1989, in Belleville. She was a longtime member of First Christian Church in Belleville where she worked the last several years as the church’s secretary. In addition to being church secretary she was also responsible for “Mother’s Day Out” and held many other church positions.
She was a friendly and outgoing woman who enjoyed travelling whenever she could and spending time relaxing in her flower garden tending to her beautiful roses. She also enjoyed time spent with her family and beloved dog- “Koda”.
Survivors include her husband- Randy Kostelac of Belleville, sons- Joshua Lee Kostelac of Belleville and Justin Tyler Kostelac of Red Bud. She is also survived by her brother- Dennis Goad of Tulsa, OK and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
The memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM, Monday, August 9, 2021, at First Christian Church in Belleville/ 5929 Old St Louis Rd, Belleville, IL 62223. Pastor Doug Hargrave will officiate. The memorial visitation will be from 11 am until time of service, Monday at the First Christian Church of Belleville. Memorial arrangements were entrusted to Leesman Funeral Home in Millstadt.
