Marlyn had worked at Southwestern Bell, St. Louis, MO. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Columbia, IL, and the American Legion Post 581 Auxilliary. She was married to Herbert C. Stemler, who survives her. They were married on May 27, 1951, in Columbia, IL.
