Mark James Whaley, 34 yrs., of Columbia, IL, passed away at St. Louis University Hospital, St. Louis, MO. He was born in Belleville, IL, the son of Larry and Patricia (Manning) Whaley 0f Columbia, IL, who survive him. He was married to Jessica (Pautler) Whaley, who survives him. They were married on June 11, 2005, at Columbia, IL. Mark was a laborer and member of Laborers Local 100, East St. Louis, IL. He was an avid motorcycle enthusiast. He never knew a stranger and made friends wherever his travels took him, and he loved the thrill of the ride. Mark's loyalty to his family and friends was his greatest trait.
