We loved Aunt Marianne and will miss her so very much. She took care of us like we were her own. She took care of everyone! She gave advice when we needed it, laughed and mourned with us, always understood where we were coming from, fed ALL of us ALL the time, mailed homemade cookies, NEVER missed a birthday or anniversary, kept up with our sports teams even though she hated sports, made us peanut butter coffee cake, regularly checked up on us, etc., etc.! And whenever we tried doing things for her she was always two steps ahead of us. We loved her dearly. She was a woman to look up to and admire. She was fearless, had inner strength and compassion, and was a beautiful person, inside and out. Her passing is enormous. She meant the world to us. Our condolences to our cousins.

So sorry for your loss. She took me to a school Christmas party when I was five to the one room school house she went to in Fults. She held my hand the whole time and kept asking me if I was having a "good time". I loved talking with her about family history, nature and of course gardening. She was such a special lady.
