Marian H. Keim's Obituary
Marian H. Keim, 84 yrs., of Columbia, IL, passed away at Nazareth Living Center, St. Louis, MO. She was born in Columbia, IL, the daughter of the late Charles and Amelia, nee Toenjes, Menner. Marian was a life long member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Columbia, IL, where she had been the parish secretary for over 30 years. She was active with the Altar Sodality, formerly sang with the "Funeral Choir", helped to coordinate and serve the Tuesday quilters lunches, was the original parish picnic dining room chairperson for over 20 years, also a Eucharistic Minister and lector. She was a former president of Gibault Catholic High School Mother's Club. Marian was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, who loved cooking large meals for family and friends, her Christmas cookies were legendary. She was an avid St. Louis Cardinal fan. She was married to the late Forrest Dean Keim. They were married on May 14, 1955, in Columbia, IL. He passed away February 22, 2013.
