Marian E Crowder's Obituary
Marian Crowder, 92 years, of Columbia, IL, passed away on December 8, 2020 at her residence. She was born in Columbia, IL. She was married to the late Charles Crowder.
Marian had worked as a secretary at Bell Telephone, St. Louis, MO, then later with the Columbia Unit #4 School District. She was a member of the Columbia Women's Club, and enjoyed traveling with her family, birding, fishing, and gardening.
Surviving are her daughter, Phyllis Morris of Columbia, IL; three grandchildren, James (Vanessa) Crowder of Charleston, IL, Jane Bennett of Warrenton, MO, and Kate Morris of Columbia, IL; great-grandchildren, Bonnie, Dominic, Elena, Lilly, Molly, Sophie, and Denali; brother, Herman (Barb) Stumpf of Columbia, IL; sisters-in-law, Eileen Stumpf of Columbia, IL, and Karen Stumpf of St. Louis, MO, along with other relatives and friends.
She was also preceded in death by her parents, Arnold and Elizabeth, nee Reger, Stumpf; son, Michael Crowder; and brothers, Paul (Eunice) Stumpf, Larry Stumpf, and Norman Stumpf.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, all services will be private.
