Marcella Lucinda Henrichs' Obituary
Marcella Lucinda Henrichs, 75, of Dupo, IL., was called home to the Lord on August 18, 2024 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born December 4, 1948, in Saint Louis, MO., to the late Oran and Pearl nee White, Grisham.
Marcella was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She loved spending time with her family and cooking for them on Sundays. Her strength was always evident as she overcame many obstacles during her time on this earth. She loved gardening, spending time outdoors, watching birds, and finding rocks to add to her garden. Some of her favorite places to explore were State Parks, Historic Sites, the beach, and especially Sam A Baker State Park. She will be fondly remembered for her years of dedication and service to Dupo School District where she retired as Cafeteria Manager.
Surviving are her Son Earl (Michelle) Henrichs of Arnold, MO; Daughter, Kelly (Gene) Clements of East Carondelet, IL; Brother, Charles (Melody) Grisham of Greentown, IN; Granddaughter, Abigail (Andrew) Kassing; Grandson, Kenneth (Julian) Henrichs; Granddaughter, Olivia Clements; Granddaughter, Kaitlyn Henrichs; Great-Grandchildren, Sophia, Vincent, Grady, and Baby Kassing; along with many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her beloved Husband, Earl Henrichs; Parents; three Sisters, Beulah Rainey, Francis Overman, and Juanita McColgin; three Brothers, Donald Shirell, James Grisham, and Richard Grisham; and her dear niece Janelle Grisham.
Visitation will be held Thursday, August 22, 2024, 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM, at Leesman Funeral Home - Dupo, IL. Services will be held 1:00 PM, Thursday August 22, 2024, at Leesman Funeral Home - Dupo, with Rev. Larry Ridenour officiating. Interment will follow in the Zion Bohnemeier Cemetery, East Carondelet, Illinois.
