Marcella F. Breitenstein, 94 yrs., of Saint Louis, MO, formerly of Columbia, IL, passed away at St. Anthony's Hospital, St. Louis, MO. She was born in Valmeyer, IL, the daughter of the late George and Amanda, nee Vogt, Marquardt. Marcella was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Columbia, IL, where she had been active with the Altar Sodality, and was a lifetime member of V.F.W. Post 6504 Aux., Waterloo, IL. She was married to the late Lawrence J. Breitenstein. They were married on September 17, 1940, at Valmeyer, IL. He passed away November 14, 1996.
