Marcella C. Besher, nee Meister 87 years of Ruma, IL, passed away on Tuesday, July 23, 2019 at Red Bud Regional Care Center in Red Bud, IL. She was born April 8, 1932, in Lemay, MO.
She was a member of St. Peter United Church of Christ in Red Bud, IL.
Surviving are her husband of 68 years, Glen M. Besher of Ruma, IL, her daughter, Charlotte (Marvin) Liefer of Red Bud, IL, her son, Glen A. (Beverly) Besher of Ruma, IL, her grandchildren, Jonathan G. Liefer, Joseph M. (Beth) Liefer, her great grandchildren, Isabella Liefer, Emilee Liefer, JayDee Besher and Sophia Liefer, her sister, Adelle (Francis) Steingrubey of Osage Beach, MO, her brother, Vernon Meister of Farmington, MO, her sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Shirley Allers, Robert & Edith Besher, Albert & Milly Gregson, along with other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred & Clara, nee Heimos, Meister, her grandson, Bradley Besher, her sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Raymond Besher, John Allers, and Gene & Irene Meister.
Visitation will be held on Friday, Friday, July 26, 2019 from 8:30 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. at Koch-Liefer Funeral Home in Red Bud, IL.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 26, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Koch-Liefer Funeral Home in Red Bud, IL., with Pastor Cory Hartz, officiating.
Interment will follow in the St. Marcus Cemetery, Red Bud, IL.
