Lynn Keith Chitty's Obituary
Lynn Keith Chitty, 71 years of Dupo, IL, passed away on Monday, January 2, 2023 at his residence. He was born April 3, 1951, in Flandreau, SD.
Lynn had worked at McDonnell-Douglas for 17 years as a maintenance supervisor, he later worked at Anheuser-Busch for 9 years as a stationary engineer and lastly at Joey's Restaurant for 3 years as their head chef. Lynn was a member of the National T-Bucket Alliance, he enjoyed making model cars and he loved St. Louis Blues hockey. He was a United States Navy Veteran.
Surviving is his wife of 26 years, Deborah Chitty, his children; Jennifer Englert, Danielle Cyvas, Derick Sitze, Bradford Abmeyer and Sarah Neuman, 10 grandchildren, his mother, Audrey Lee Chitty, his sister, Beth Karmis, his brothers; Will Chitty and Mark Chitty, he is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins along with other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Dale Vavrra Chitty and his brother, Joel Chitty.
Memorial visitation will be on Monday, January 9, 2023 from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm at Leesman Funeral Home in Dupo, IL.
Interment with military honors will follow in the Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, MO.
In lieu of customary remembrances, the family requests with gratitude that memorial contributions be directed to Bluffview Christian Center church of Nazarene, 201 Richard Rd, Dupo, Illinois 62239.
