Luella Muench's Obituary
Luella Muench, nee Busse 102, of Freeburg, IL, born September 7, 1914 in Red Bud, IL., passed away on Monday, March 27, 2017 at the Freeburg Care Center in Freeburg, IL.
She was a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church, Pricilla Club and the Jolly Swingers Kitchen band of the Senior Citizens. She retired as a seamstress from Lowenbaum.
She was preceded in death by her husband whom she married June 23, 1968, William "Bill" Jake Muench, her parents, Theodore Anna, nee Rhuemkof, Busse and her son, Roger Sathoff, her step-daughter, Donna Wasson of Steeleville, IL, and her nephew, Roland (Ruby) Muench.
She is survived by her step-grandsons, Scott Hohgrefe, Shannon Hohgrefe, & Harold "Chip" (Christy) Wasson, her step-granddaughter, Stephanie (Dale) Diercks & Tori (Terry) Leggans, her step-great grandchildren, Joey, Melissa, Jesse, & Tori Hohgrefe, Josh & Lacey Diercks, Claire, Carter & Cooper Wasson, and her step great great grandchildren, Willow & Jensen. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held April 4, 2017 from 10-10:45 a.m. at the Koch-Liefer Funeral Home in Red Bud, IL.
Graveside Service will be held April 4, 2017 at 11 a.m., at St. John's Lutheran Cemetery in Red Bud, IL., with Pastor Kelly Bedard, officiating.
Interment will follow in the St. John's Lutheran Cemetery in Red Bud, IL.
