Luella A. Mueller, 97 yrs., of Columbia, IL, passed away at Oak Hill Care Center, Waterloo, IL. She was born in Valmeyer, IL, the daughter of the late Fred and Louise, nee Taake, Schwarze. She was married to the late Richard L. Mueller. They were married on December 28, 1941, in Valmeyer, IL.
Luella was fondly known as the 'egg lady', as she and her husband delivered eggs locally for many years. She was a member of St. Paul United Church of Christ, Columbia, IL, Columbia Senior Citizens, Relief Board for the 1993 flood, Columbia Sister Cities, and was a charter member of the Monroe County Home Extension.
