Luella M. Koblitz's Obituary
Mrs. Koblitz was preceded in death by her parents: Henry & Caroline, nee Hesterberg, Buschman, her sister: Lucille Janning and her brother: Bill Buschman. Mrs. Koblitz is survived by her husband: Udell Koblitz, her son: Ronald D. Koblitz, her daughter: Bonnie M. Koblitz, her sister: Ardelle Keller. She is also survived by other relatives, and friends. Mrs. Koblitz was a member of Christ United Church of Christ in Dupo, IL. She was an avid card player until 2 weeks before her death. She did volunteer work at St. Anthony's Hospital. She made more than 300lap robes for veterans, shut-ins, and nursing home patients. She enjoyed reading through Daugherty Public Library in Dupo. Luella worked on the church paper and chicken and dumplings dinners. She was a member of the Peabody Club, a group of friends organized in 1936. After retiring from Ray Oil Company in 1986, she spent 15 years enjoying the lake home at Sunrise Lake, fishing and piecing quilts. She sang in the church choir for many years. She was a loving wife and mother and she will be greatly missed. Memorials may be made out to Christ United Church of Christ in Dupo, IL.
