Lucille E., nee Kremmel, Smith, 87 yrs., of Columbia, IL, passed away at St. Anthony's Hospital, St. Louis, MO. She was born in Columbia, IL, the daughter of the late William and Eva, nee Rohm, Kremmel. Lucille was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Columbia, IL, and was active with the quilter's group there. Her faith in God guided her life and she always put others before herself. She loved to cook for and be with her family. Lucille was a fierce card and game player, and usually dispatched her opponents quickly. She was married to the late Vernon W. Smith. They were married on July 29, 1950, in Columbia, IL. He had passed away January 17, 2012.
