Lucille Marie Louisa Schewe, nee Stumpf, 101 years of Millstadt, IL, was called to her Heavenly home on Friday, February 16, 2024. She was born December 7, 1922, in Waterloo, IL.
Lucille and her husband Raymond, owned and operated Midland Milling and Feed Co. in Millstadt for 38 years. Lucille was a member of Zion Evangelical Church in Millstadt, IL.
Surviving are her son, Stan Schewe, her daughter, Lynne (John) Mulderig, her Grandchildren, Amber (Dan) Hinch, Douglas (Melissa) Schewe, Tracy Mulderig, and Kelly Mulderig, along with other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her Husband, Raymond Schewe, her parents, Eugene and Frieda, nee Hesterberg, Stumpf, her daughter-in-law, Jan Schewe, two brothers, Louis Stumpf and Leland Stumpf, and her sister, Arlou Stumpf.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 23, 2024 from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. at Leesman Funeral Home in Millstadt, IL. Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 23, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. at Leesman Funeral Home in Millstadt, IL., with Rev. Darrell Weber, officiating. Interment will follow in the Kolmer Memorial Cemetery, Waterloo, IL.
