Lucille M. Furkin's Obituary
Lucille (Beissenherz) Furkin was born on October 12, 1923 to Edwin and Magdeline Beissenherz in Jamestown, MO. She grew up in Wellington, MO and resided in St. Louis, MO. Lucille married her husband Bill on August 26, 1949.
Lucille was preceded in death by her husband Bill Furkin in 1981; her sister Elizabeth (Jack) Abdoler, and brothers Dick (Margaret) Beissenherz, Buddy Beissenherz, and Gene Beissenherz.
She is survived by her two sons, Jim and Bob (Cail) Furkin; three grandchildren Susan (Jason) Heob, Sally Furkin, and Scott (Nissa) Furkin; sisters-in-law Alberta Beissenherz, Charlene Beissenherz, Lavenia Davis, and Marie Furkin; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Lucille lived a full and long life. She loved her family and to travel with her siblings. She enjoyed playing golf, bridge, working in her yard, reading, watching baseball, football, and golf. She loved feeding the birds. Her family will forever cherish memories of her love and generosity.
Graveside Services will be held at St. Luke’s Evangelical Church in Wellington. Memorials can be made to the church.
