She was born on January 10, 1920 in Bland, MO, the daughter of the late George Fred and Flora Anne (Michel) Peth. She was a retired office worker at Scott Air Force Base, Ofallon, Ill., with some 29 yrs. of service. She was married to the late Gilbert Lewis on December 8, 1973, in Belleville, Ill..
