Louisa Ann Howell's Obituary
Louisa Ann Howell, nee Hans, 84 years of Millstadt, IL, passed away on Saturday, January 13, 2024 at her residence. She was born November 9, 1939, in Marion, IL.
Louisa and her sister Alicia were the former owners of The Country House, a cross stitch store in O'Fallon and Belleville, Illinois. Louisa along with her husband Billy also operated the Finishing Touch Framing Store. She enjoyed quilting and painting.
Surviving are her husband of 64 years, Billy Howell, her daughter, Angelia Zumwalt, her two granddaughters, Tessa Harris and Maryssa Howell, along with other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Faye, Wright, Hans, her son, Justin Howell, her sister, Alicia Hans and her son-in-law, Raymond Zumwalt.
Visitation will be Sunday, January 21, 2024, 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm, at Leesman Funeral Home in Millstadt, IL. Private interment will be held at a later date in the Mt. Zion Cemetery, Golconda, IL.
In lieu of customary remembrances, the family requests with gratitude that memorial contributions be directed to Any veterans charity. Arrangements were handled by Leesman Funeral Home in Millstadt, IL.
