Louis I. Mund's Obituary
Louis I. Mund, 85 years of East Carondelet, IL., passed away on Monday, November 13, 2017 at his residence. He was born June 8, 1932 in Sugarloaf Township, Illinois.
He was a Benafactor of Cardinal Glennon Children's Hospital, University of Illinois, Bradley University and Shriner's Hospital for Crippled Children.
He survived by his sister, Jeanne Mund Lagowski of Austin, TX., along with other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ira J. & Josephine, nee Wecker, Mund.
Visitation will be on Friday, November 17, 2017 from 8:00 to 9:00 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church (411 Palmer Rd.) in Columbia, IL.
Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, November 17, 2017 at 9:00 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Columbia, IL., with Fr. Carl Scherrer, officiating.
Interment will follow in the Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, MO., with full military honors.
