Lorraine F. "Pinky" Vogel, 93 years of Millstadt, IL, passed away on Thursday, May 27, 2021 at Parkwood Skilled Nursing & Rehab Center in Maryland Heights, MO, He was born April 23, 1928, in Millstadt, IL.
Pinky retired as a truck driver of 32 years for Callison Liquor. He was a member of Concordia United Church of Christ in Belleville, IL., and a life member of the VFW Post #7980 Millstadt, IL. He was a Korean War army veteran.
Surviving are Son; Tom Swearengin, and Angel Daughter; Karen.
He was preceded in death by his father, Emil Vogel; mother, Frieda Vogel, nee Boehm; brother, Clarence, sister-in-law, Viola "Tootie"; wife, Doris Jean Vogel, nee Speichinger; and son, Alan Lee Vogel.
Private services will be held and an interment will follow in the Mount Evergreen Cemetery, Millstadt, Illinois.
