Lorine Hilda Reinhardt, 96 years of Red Bud, Illinois, passed away on January 9, 2024 at , Red Bud, Illinois. She was born November 3, 1927, in Evansville, Illinois.
Lorine was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Red Bud, Illinois. In her years on the farm she loved to garden, cook, host and attend family get togethers and spend time with dear friends. She spent many hours milking cows and helping with the farm. In her later years, she greatly enjoyed the social aspect of living at Garden Place, where she spent much time doing crafts and needle work along with developing a passion for reading. Lorine mostly loved being a mother and grandmother and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her son, David (Faye) Reinhardt, her two grandchildren, Joshua (Emily) Reinhardt and Brandy (Blake) Koppel, her three great-grandchildren; Chloe Reinhardt, Henry and Oliver Koppel, her sister-in-law, Agatha Reinhardt, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Henry Koester, her mother, Mary Koester, her husband, Earl Reinhardt; her two children; Donald Lee Reinhardt and Beverly Ann Reinhardt, one brother and two sisters.
Visitation will be Friday, January 12, 2024, 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm, at Leesman Funeral Home - Red Bud, Red Bud, IL, and Saturday, January 13, 2024, 10:00 am - 11:00 am, St. John's Lutheran Church, Red Bud, Red Bud, IL. Services will be held 11:00 AM, Saturday January 13, 2024, at St. John's Lutheran Church, Red Bud, with Pastor Mark Nebel officiating. Interment will follow in the St. John's Lutheran Cemetery, Red Bud, Red Bud, IL.
In lieu of customary remembrances, the family requests with gratitude that memorial contributions be directed to St. John's Lutheran Church, 508 Bloom St., Red Bud, IL 62278.
