Lois L. Nagel's Obituary
Red Bud- Lois L. Nagel, 95, of Red Bud, passed away at 9:44 AM, Saturday, May 8, 2021 at her home.
Lois was born on February 26, 1926 in Prairie to Adolph and Alvina (Hitzemann) Schrieber. She married Erwin Nagel on June 6, 1948 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Prairie.
She was a hardworking woman who loved and cared for family and helped Erwin around the farm. She was a longtime member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Prairie and she enjoyed quilting and gardening flowers. She most loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren and will be dearly missed.
Survivors include her beloved husband- Erwin Nagel of Red Bud, four children- Ralph Nagel and wife Millie, Margaret Luebkemann, Charles Nagel and Marquita Tindall and husband Steve all of Red Bud, thirteen grandchildren, thirty eight great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter- Rosalita Nagel, sons- Ernest and Ray Nagel, son in law- Larry Luebkemann, daughter in law- Linda Nagel, sisters- Alice Schrieber and Gladys Mudd and her twin sister- Dolores Langrehr.
The funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, May 12, 2021 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Prairie. Pastor Scott Hojnacki will officiate. Burial will follow at Trinity Lutheran Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, May 11, 2021 from 5-8 PM at Trinity Lutheran Church in Prairie. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Leesman Funeral Home in Red Bud.
