Ms. Petrasek was born in Monroe County, IL, daughter of the late William and Alvina (Mueller) Herrmann. Her husband, the late Leonard J. Petrasek, precedes her in death. She had worked with Monsanto Chemical Co., Sauget, IL, as a secretary. She was a member of Monroe County Historical Society, Columbia Heritage and Preservation Commission, and was an American Red Cross Volunteer.
