Lillian L. Rouggly's Obituary
Lillian L. Rouggly, 85 years of Saint Louis, MO, passed away on July 24, 2023 in Panama City Beach, FL. She was born April 4, 1938, in Advance, MO to Earlie Otto & Dora Ellen Henderschott.
She married Richard Rouggly on March 17, 1957 in Saint Louis, MO.
She worked at AT&T and was a telephone operator for 36 years. She originally started with Southwestern Bell until they merged with AT&T. She loved to shop at Goodwill stores & go to Crestwood Mall to shop for makeup with her girlfriend, Sally.
Lillian retired after many years from AT&T. She loved to play cards, UNO being her favorite. She treasured her time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Lillian was the youngest of 10 children.
Surviving is her son, Brian Rouggly of Dupo, IL, Grandchilden; Brandon Rouggly & Michaela Rouggly, along with other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Richard Rouggly, son, Gary Lyn Rouggly, and her siblings; Laura Idabell Henderschott, Charlie Edward Henderschott, Clara Edith Henderschott-Hemmann, Floyd A. Henderschott, George Donald Henderschott, Dorothy Mae Henderschott, Lendle Henderschott, Mabel M. Henderschott, and James Loyd Henderschott.
Visitation will be held on August 19, 2023, from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm, at Leesman Funeral Home, Dupo, IL.
