Lillian Irene Phillips' Obituary
Lillian Irene Phillips, nee Reinhold, 91 years old of Columbia, IL, formerly of Dupo, IL., passed away on Thursday, September 22, 2022 at Oak Hill Care Center, Waterloo, IL. She was born September 5, 1931, in Red Bud, IL.
Lillian was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Dupo, IL., a Hospice Volunteer for 20 years, a member of DuKare, and enjoyed The Red Hat Society, Birthday Club and Bunko Club.
Surviving are her sons, Michael Phillips of St. Louis, MO, Kenneth (Linda) Phillips of Dupo, IL, & Bryan (Aileen) Phillips of Columbia, IL, her grandchildren, Jacob (Jessica) Phillips, Josh (Fiancé Michelle McAbee) Phillips, Andrew (Brittany) Phillips, Alison (Fiancé Chris Wiley) Phillips, her great-grandchildren, Ethan, Hannah, Ahnalee, Alydia, Arizona, Camden, Wyatt, Magdalena, her sisters, Patricia Cronic & Mary Sue Ahlert, along with other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl W. "Boots" Phillips and her parents, Lawrence & Eleanor, nee Faus, Reinhold.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 27, 2022 from 4-7 p.m. at Leesman Funeral Home in Dupo, IL., and on Wednesday, September 28, 2022 from 10:30 a.m. -11:30 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Columbia, IL.
Funeral mass will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, September 28, 2022 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Columbia, IL., with Fr. Steve Thoma, officiating.
Interment will follow in the Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, MO.
In lieu of customary remembrances, the family requests with gratitude that memorial contributions be directed to Immaculate Conception Catholic School Fund, 411 Palmer Road, Columbia, IL, 62236. Arrangements were handled by Leesman Funeral Home.
