Uncle LeRoy was one of the best uncles a kid could ask for. All the family gatherings, holidays, water skiing at the lake - so many great memories! Always called me Deborah, not Debbie as most called me. My thoughts are with the whole family. Uncle LeRoy will be missed!
Uncle LeRoy was always a fun and feisty gentleman. Visiting with him and the family "up on the hill" was a delight, as we had other relative families who also lived "up on the hill", which meant we then got to visit with lots of aunts, uncles and cousins too.
Blessings and deepest sympathy. Christine Frierdich and Gene Haltenhof
LeRoy was a great role model as a next door neighbor as I was growing up. It is hard to imagine that in reality he was a mere 12 years older than me.
