Leonard S. Gnojewski's Obituary
Leonard S. Gnojewski, 92, of Columbia, IL,and formerly of Madison, IL, passed away at St. John's Mercy Hospital, Creve Coeur, MO. He was born in Granite City, IL, the son of Stanislaus and Anastasia (Rozycke) Gnojewski. He had worked with the US Army Corps of Engineers and had been a member of the Venice-Madison American Legion Post 307, and the St. Stanislaus Lodge 1004, Madison, IL. He served in the U.S. Navy and was a veteran of World War II. He was married toMary (Motil) Gnojewski. They were married on July 5, 1941.
