Leona Caroline Kossina, 94 yrs., of Columbia, IL, passed away at her residence. She was born in Columbia, IL, the daughter of the Late Louis and Lulu (Schuchardt) Ries. Leona had been a member of American Legion Post 581, Auxiliary, Columbia, IL, VFW Post 6368, Dupo, IL, and Columbia Gymnastic Association. She was married to the late Ervin O. Kossina. They were married on May 18, 1942, at St. Louis, MO, he passed away November 21, 2005.
