Leona Caroline Boo was born in Burksville, Illinois, daughter of the late William and Lena (Barker) Offermann. She was a member of Bethany United Methodist Church, Columbia, Illinois. She was the wife of Frank W. Boo, who survives her. They were married in Yuma, Arizona, on September 1, 1940.
