Lela M. Reichert's Obituary
Lela M. Reichert, 89 years of Columbia, IL, passed away on February 28, 2026 at her residence in Columbia, IL. She was born June 20, 1936, in Ava, IL.
Lela had retired after 15+ years as a cook for the Columbia Middle and High Schools. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and homemaker.
Surviving are her husband of 69 years, Dale Reichert, whom she married in Ava, IL on October 20, 1956. Also her son, Rodney Reichert of Columbia, IL; daughter, Shelly Reichert of Columbia, IL; daughter-in-law, Julie Reichert; grandchildren, Ashley Parker, Taylor Hamilton, Carter Andres, and Carlee Crowell; great-grandchildren, Owen, Wyatt, Jack, Lawson, and Wylder; sisters, Mary (Vernon) Bogenpohl, and Loretta (Leroy) Schrieber; brother, Earl (Judy) Pulcher, along with other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Cecil and Mabel, nee Reiman, Pulcher; sisters, Bessie and Jean.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
