LaVerne Pelate's Obituary
LaVerne Pelate, nee Bicklein, 91 years of Dupo, IL., passed away on September 18, 2017 at Nazareth Living Center in St. Louis County, MO. She was born September 5, 1926, in Waterloo, IL.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank H. Pelate, her son, Randall Pelate; her daughter, Renee Pelate; her father, John Bicklein; her mother, Athena Bicklein, nee Stumpf and brothers, Armin Bicklein & Vernon Bicklein.
Surviving are daughter, Brenda (James) Long; two sons, Curtis (Beth) Pelate, Merle Pelate; her grandchildren, Nathan, Gabriel, Connor & Shayla Pelate; her great granddaughter, Carrie Gabriela, her brother, Roy (Karon) Bicklein; her sister, Rosella (Vernon) Nolte, her sisters-in-law, Arleen Bicklein & Darlene Bicklein; , along with other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, September 20, 2017 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Leesman Funeral Home in Dupo, IL. and Thursday, September 21, 2017 from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m.
Services will be held on Thursday, September 21, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at Leesman Funeral Home in Dupo, IL., with Rev. Todd Muschaney, officiating.
Burial will follow in the Zion Bohnemeier Cemetery, East Carondelet, Illinois.
