Burr was preceded in death by his parents: Russell and Donna, nee White, Ingram, his brothers and sisters. He is survived by his sons: Troy and John and his daughter: Burrae, his grandchildren and great grandchildren, he is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends. Burr was a United States Army Veteran. He was a retired switchman from the Cottonbelt Railroad in East St. Louis, IL. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
