Laura Christine Straub-Buckley, born April 9, 1985, on January 30, 2024 she entered into heaven to be greeted by her step-father Bernard Kutz and grandparents Vernon and Ruth Frierdich.
Left to mourn and miss Laura are her husband Mitch; mother Geralyn Kutz; sisters Katie Stumpf and Kristin (Manny Gusman) Straub; nieces Hailey (Zack Kannewurf) Stumpf and Kayla Stumpf; nephew Adrian Gusman; uncles Tom (Cindy) Frierdich, Tim (Gail) Frierdich, Jim (Gina) Frierdich, John (Pam) Frierdich, Marty (Debbie) Oexner, Mike (Sherry) Straub; loving aunt and godmother, Maryanne (Mike) Wachtel; cousins, friends and David Straub.
Laura was an amazing and talented artist, a competitive runner, and a lover of all animals and living things.
Rest in peace gentle soul.
Visitation will be Tuesday, February 6, 2024, 9:30 am - 11:30 am at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Columbia, IL. Funeral mass will follow visitation at 11:30 am at church. Interment will take place in the Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Columbia, IL.
