Larry Glen Tolbird's Obituary
Larry Glen Tolbird, 78, of West Palm Beach, FL., formerly of Dupo, IL. born October 20, 1937 in
Monroe, LA., passed away on Saturday, November 14, 2015 at Trust Bridge Hospice in West Palm Beach, FL surrounded by his loving family.
Larry was preceded in death by his wife, Bertha Ellen, nee Graves, Tolbird, whom he married
October 16, 1961, and who died November 4, 1995; his son, Glenn Michael Tolbird; his parents,
James and Medrie, nee Phillips, Tolbird; his brother and sister-in-law, James D. (JD) & Doris, nee Range, Tolbird.
He is survived by his daughter, Gina Ann Levesque of West Palm Beach, FL; his grandson, Chandler Wayne Levesque; his brother, Toliver (Buck) Tolbird of St. Louis, MO, as well as Dear nieces and nephews.
Larry was a veteran of the Army and retired as a Chemical Engineer from Ethyl Corporation in Sauget, IL. Larry was a great father who loved following his daughter all over the country to watch her play softball throughout her college career. Moreover, he was most proud of his grandson, Chandler. He enjoyed spending his retirement years watching Chandler grow to his potential. Larry found personal happiness once again after the loss of his wife, Bert of 34 years. In 2011, he met a wonderful lady, Kay Baker, who was by his side day and night until the end. Larry was a great friend to many and always had a laugh and smile to share. He never knew a stranger and was generous of spirit and heart.

Visitation will be on Friday, November 20, 2015 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Leesman Funeral Home in Dupo, IL. and on Saturday, November 21, 2015 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
Funeral service will be on Saturday, November 21, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Leesman Funeral Home (326 S. Main St.) in Dupo, IL., with Rev. Roger Reid, officiating.
Burial will be in Valhalla Gardens of Memory in Belleville, IL.
