Larry was a fun loving, caring gentleman. I enjoyed working with him as he expanded his business many years ago. God bless.
Larry definitely was a breath of fresh air and will be missed by all who knew him. My thoughts and prayers to all his family

This is so so sad. I just loved your whole family. All the times with your momma making us summer sausage and grape jelly on wheat, being chased by geese, spending tge night with Kayann I hate that we ever moved away and never stopped missing you guys and home....Millstadt and the people are still in my heart as home. What a great person he was
To me, the last paragraph of the obit really summed up my shortlived but influential experience of him during my youth, "Larry lived every day to the fullest. He found joy in everything and made everyone feel like they mattered - that was his gift to the world, and that's exactly how he'll be remembered!" I experienced that 100% and was in awe by how he lived so authentically, even at a young age. His unadaultered existence was a true testament to how one should approach life, and I undoubtedly carried a piece of that with me as I grew older because it was so freely given. Condolences, love, light and healing to everyone feeling such an immeasurable loss at this time.
My grandparents loved their family soo much and Millstadt was where their hearts were. Larry was such a source of pride and a very talented man. I haven't seen the family in a long time, but I hope good memories will help your journey.
We had a business connection to Schubert's, but also considered Larry as a friend. He will be missed by many. We are so sorry for your loss. Sending prayers to Mabel and the entire family.
